COG Announces Success in Massachusetts CDBG Grant Awards9/4/2012
COG is pleased to announce that six of its clients have received funding from the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development through the FY 2012 Community Development Fund program.
COG prepared applications for each of the six towns: Templeton and Hubbardston (joint application), Abington and Whitman (joint application), Wareham, and Webster, securing over $3.5 million of an available $28 million for these communities. In total, 46 communities state wide received grants. COG has written applications for these clients in the past, with the exception of Abington and Whitman.
The grants will cover activities such as housing rehabilitation, infrastructure improvements, planning, and public social services. Following are the award details:
